| Have
you ever questioned why you do what you do? Have you ever
wondered if there is anything more than a career, wealth and family?
Do you ever get the feeling that there is something more to life,
some greater fulfilment? |
|
| Vedanta
is the timeless philosophy enshrined in the Bhagavad Geeta and
Upanishads that addresses these very questions |
|
| In
this one-day conference Swami Swaroopananda will explore these
fundamental questions. Through lectures, discussion groups and
interactive sessions, Swamiji will question our basic assumptions
about life and provide us with simple yet effective principles
by which we can gain clarity of mind, resolve conflicts and gain
a greater sense of contentment. |
|
| Swami
Swaroopananda |
| As
a young man, Swami Swaroopananda left his family's thriving business
in Hong Kong, convinced that life held some greater Truth beyond
everyday joy and sorrow. |
|
| He
studied under the world-renowned master of Vedanta, Swami Chinmayananda
and has spent over 20 years travelling the world, conducting lectures
to tens of thousands of people including many top multinational
companies such as Ford and General Electric. He has recently launched
an interactive personal development programme entitled 'Make It
Happen' that fuses Vedanta with modern management techniques. |
|
| Organisers |
| CHYK
is the youth wing of the Chinmaya Mission, a charity dedicated
to the study and dissemination of Vedanta. Through classes, seminars
and literature, enquiring young minds from all backgrounds explore
this ancient knowledge, learn how to incorporate it into their
fast-paced lives and discover the clarity, efficiency and contentment
that they seek. |
