With an endless flow of visiting Acharyas, friends, family and plenty of activities for self-development, 'Chinmaya Kirti' in Hendon, north London is more than just a centre. It is an ‘Ashram’, an ashram for the Chinmaya UK family. It is a forum to learn, teach, grow, serve, worship and celebrate – all under one roof.

‘Chinmaya Kirti’ houses the aspirations of devotees to continue the work of Swami Chinmayananda and fulfill whatever part is theirs in his grand scheme of spreading maximum happiness to all. Chinmaya Vidya Nagari  - ‘City of Supreme Knowledge’ (CVN)
‘Chinmaya Vidya Nagari’ is our new residential and experiential retreat centre to study, reflect upon and practice Vedanta. It is a visionary project, conceived as a dedication to the founder of Chinmaya Mission, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, to mark the centenary of his birth in 2016. CVN serves as a place and space to practice the knowledge studied in Chinmaya Mission for spiritual aspirants in Europe. As a vision, resource and retreat centre it spans over acres of serene and picturesque landscape, and is located in a peaceful yet accessible part of Oxfordshire. Activities of CVN:
  • Living a ‘sattvic’ spiritual lifestyle (meditation, satsang, seva, yoga, cooking, gardening and contemplative walks)

  • Courses, self-study, study groups and lectures by professionals, academics and SMEs from around the world
