Tejomayananda
Tues 31 Aug & Wed 1 Sept 2010, 7 - 9pm
|
|
| Welcome
to the Joy of Parenting online booking webpage. Here you can
find out more about the seminar and book online, securely, using
your credit card. |
|
| What
is the Joy of Parenting seminar? |
| Put
simply, the seminar is about providing real, insightful and
practical advice on how to raise successful, happy, & fulfilled
children. All advice and insight is drawn from the timeless
wisdom of eastern scripture and presented in a modern context
by one of our generation's great spiritual masters. |
|
| Parenting
is one of the most challenging, rewarding, confusing, complicated
and important jobs we undertake in our lives. We all want similar
things for our children - we want them to be successful, to
have values and integrity and above all, we want them to be
happy. |
|
| But
how to do this? |
|
| We
can read books on child psychology, follow the example set by
others or just do our best and hope to learn as we go along. |
|
| Or
we can spend a little time, money and effort in learning what
time-tested eastern wisdom has to offer. Because while we invest
years of study and preparation into our careers, how much time
do we actually devote to learning the art of parenting? |
|
| This
seminar is a unique opportunity. Other courses may share advice
and opinion based on modern psychological research but the Joy
of Parenting seminar is an opportunity to learn lessons on parenting
based on universal spiritual wisdom. |
|
| Knowledge
from eastern scripture is not only borne of subtle wisdom, it
is time-tested and teachings drawn from such scripture have
been put to the test by countless generations and found to work
throughout the ages. |
|
| And
when such timeless wisdom is presented in a modern context,
the result is real, insightful practical advice on how to bring
the best out of our children. |
|
| What's
the format? |
| Refreshments
and a light meal will be served from 7pm and the seminar will
commence at 7:30pm. After a discourse by Swami Tejomayananda,
both evenings will finish with a question and answer session. |
|
| Where
will it be? |
| The
venue is the Sattavis Patidar (formerly Advait) Centre, Forty
Ave, Wembley, Middx HA9 9PE. The nearest tube station is Wembley
Park (5 minute walk) and there is car parking available on site
as well as on the surrounding roads (there are no events at
Wembley Stadium during the seminar so parking is readily available
on surrounding roads). |
