3rd April 2016Hundreds joined Chinmaya Mission UK to celebrate Hanuman Jayanti in Hendon
28th April 2016Letter from Central Chinmaya Mission Trust:
“Hari Om!
As we are approaching Pujya Gurudev’s centennial birthday, we would like the world to join in the celebration. A celebration through Google Doodle!
What is Google Doodle?
Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google’s homepage that is intended to celebrate holidays, events, achievements and people.
Proposal
On 8th May 2016, we would Google to honour and celebrate Pujya Gurudev’s Jayanti. CCMT has recently submitted a request to Google for their consideration. However, we understand that Google receives many such proposals.
Google Doodle yajna?
In order to maximum our chances, we request acharyas and centres to spread the word to its members to please send an email to Google outlining their personal connection to Pujya Gurudev, his work, his mission and vision. We request emails to be kept short and they can be sent to: proposals@google.com . As time is of the essence, we request all to please engage in this yajna as soon as possible.
Sample write ups have been attached below for reference. You can edit them suitably and send.”
