2nd May 2016It is the ninth time Chinmaya Mission UK has organised a full-day event dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Chinmaya Kirti’s presiding deity. The event involved singing the much-loved Hanuman Chalisa 108 times . The beautiful and uplifting singing was led by the devotional music wing of Chinmaya Mission, Chinmaya Swaranjali UK, over seven hours. Our generous Yajmaans were invited on stage to participate in the singing, and to make an offering to Lord Hanumanji.
The celebrations concluded with Mahaprasaad (food offering) immediately after the singing and puja.
An exceptionally vibrant, pure and divine atmosphere pervaded the event, which was organised by sevaks (volunteers) who had beautifully decorated the centre, altar and coordinated the entire day’s activity.
