Advaita Vedanta Immersive 2018

The Brahmasūtra of Bhagavān Veda Vyāsa and its commentary by Bhagavān Ādi Śaṅkarācārya give the distilled essence of all Upaniṣads. Every Upaniṣad reveals that knowledge of the oneness of the Self that destroys the ignorance that is the cause of all problems. The Brahmasūtra and its commentary masterfully demonstrate that this is the primary theme of all Upaniṣads. The first sutra states, “athāto brahmajijñāsā” – Thus, therefore, the desire to know Brahman. Bhagavān Ādi Śaṅkarācārya demonstrates how the desire to know Brahman arises and why one should want to know Brahman.
