Chinmaya Mission UK has launched the Chinmaya Paduka Yatra, taking Gurudev's Padukas to the homes of devotees and sevaks across London
As part of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, and in line with the Chinmaya Jyoti Yatra that is taking place in India, Chinmaya Mission UK has launched the Chinmaya Paduka Yatra (CPY). Gurudev's Padukas left Chinmaya Kirti on 22nd November 2015, and is on a yatra (a journey) to visit the homes of Chinmaya Mission UK devotees and sevaks until 7th May 2016. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who wish to welcome Gurudev into their homes, with reverence, for an overnight stay. When the Padukas are received into a devotees' home, they will be placed at the altar. A Paduka puja, or alternatively, chanting of the Guru Stotram and 108 names of Gurudev (Chinmaya Ashtottara Shata Namavali) or the chanting of "Om Shree Chinmaya Sadgurave Namaha" 108 times will then be done. The next day the Padukas will be passed on to the next Chinmaya Mission UK devotee. For any further information or to take part, please contact CPY@chinmayauk.org.
