Bhimsen Joshi Sangeet Mohastav, Pune. He has also accompanied his Guru on various occasions. Apart from his musical pursuits, Himanshu Nanda has served as the Director of Music at Chinmaya Naada Bindu, a Gurukul for Indian Performing Arts, and as a visiting faculty for music at IIT Bombay. He was also the founding member of Chinmaya Swaranjali, the music-centered offshoot of the global Chinmaya Mission.

Recognized with prestigious awards such as the “Sur Mani” title by Mumbai’s Sur Singar Samsad, he remains dedicated to upholding his guru’s tradition of elevating listeners to higher planes of consciousness through the meaningful emphasis on “silence” in music
