Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi releases commemorative coin to mark Birth Centenary of Swami Chinmayananda

8th May 2016 marks the birth centenary of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. To commemorate this momentous occasion, Chinmaya Mission Worldwide is setting in motion year-long celebrations on 8th May 2015, entitled the Chinmaya Birth Centenary Celebrations (CBCC). There will be a 3 day Global Launch Ceremony for these celebrations commencing on 6th May 2015 at Kerala, the birthplace of the Ageless Guru. The festivities will be inaugurated on 6th May 2015 by Former Indian President, Dr Abdul Kalam.
On 8th May 2015, from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm (local India time; 2 pm to 4 pm UK time) Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda will be giving the Benedictory Address (as well as lighting the Chinmaya Jyoti). This Address will be broadcast LIVE on the Chinmaya YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/tMI_rtTt1Rk. Be sure to tune in.
The three-day Global Launch is also being telecast on Sankara TV.
