It gives me immense joy to inform you that Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) has initiated a uniquely structured programme on the Bhagavad Gita titled “Master Gita Master Life“, a certificate course, for the benefit of all those who desire to study the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita is a profound scripture that has been given to us as a “gift” from the Lord as a manual of guidance to live a life of equanimity, fulfillment, happiness and perfection. It is the very essence of the sacred Upanishads and no treatise excels it. Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, the Gita Acharya of modern times, initiated the tradition of Gita Jnana Yajnas that continues even today in the Chinmaya Mission centres across the globe, transforming individuals who seek this supreme Wisdom. You too have inherited this life-transforming Knowledge and it is up to each one of us to learn and master this treatise and live its priceless wisdom.
The programme, which will commence from 12th January 2019, will cover the entire 18 chapters in 20 months with the option of attending sessions:
In person: On every second weekend of the month at the very birth home of Adi Sankaracharya, the abode of the Chinmaya International Foundation.
Online: The video recordings of the sessions will be made available online to listen, study and contemplate on, at the personal convenience of those of you who cannot make it in person.
Swami Advayanandaji of CIF will take the discourses on the Bhagavad Gita in a comprehensive and detailed manner, going through every single verse with precision and clarity. Besides the discourses, the learning will be facilitated through group discussions, Q&A and meditation sessions on the Bhagavad Gita led by Br. Ved Chaitanya. Participants will also learn Bhagavad Gita chanting.
