The team at Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV) is committed to fulfilling Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s dream of creating such an institution of higher education and his grand vision ‘To give maximum happiness to the maximum number for the maximum time’. This is achieved in various creative ways at the University.
One of these ways is through CVV’s School of Kalayoga, where the courses offered hone music skills in young adults. The details of programmes offered at both the campuses are as follows:
• M.A. Music specialising in Hindustani Vocal | Bansuri | Tabla – two-year master’s programmes that open avenues into the world of performing arts and other careers in music. The programmes, designed by educationists and renowned performing artists, provide a seamless blend of university education and the gurukula method.
• Regular workshops and courses in music such as the ‘Karnatak Sangeeta Pravesha’
• ‘Kala Samvada – Conversations on Art’ which are fortnightly webinars that provide a platform to closely interact with renowned artists and their work.
You are invited to be part of this unique institution.
