Pragathee completes the London Marathon 2017!

Pragathee undertook this inspiring task of running 26.2 miles around London in order to raise funds for Chinmaya Mission UK.

As well as training for the marathon for the past few months, Pragathee has been studying for her final exams for her Master’s degree.  In the days around the marathon, Pragathee was tested on all fronts – two days before, she had an important job interview and the very next day after running the gruelling course, she went to sit her exams.  She truly demonstrated and practised mind over matter.

​Many CHYKs and other Chinmaya Mission members supported Pragathee as she ran. One commented: “Pragathee truly demonstrated ‘vision above self’ ​as she finish​ed​ the marathon ​despite sustaining an injury at the halfway mark. Her determined walk ​for the remainder of the ​course was inspiring for everyone who watched her.”
