Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK) took shape as the youth wing of Chinmaya Mission in 1975, which means we are soon approaching its 50th year anniversary, a meaningful milestone of pride and importance for the entire organisation.
Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda always encouraged the youth to engage in self-inquiry and to serve society, with a clear purpose and meaningful goals.
In alignment with His vision, All India Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (AICHYK) has announced the 14th batch of YEP – the Youth Empowerment Program, which will begin on 15 July 2024.
This one-year leadership and service training program offers the opportunity for the youth (graduates up to age 28) to Learn, Serve and Grow - Learn for 3 months, Serve for 9 months and Grow for life. Those who have been part of it have found tremendous inspiration in and through this intensive, enriching experience.
The venue for the initial 3 months’ training portion of YEP-14 will be Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore, and Chinmaya Tarangini, Chennai. The course will include travel and stay at some places of importance in India.
Those selected for this life-changing program will receive 100% scholarship for boarding, lodging and study materials that are part of the course. Commitment to serve for 9 months after the training of 3 months, is mandatory.
