Bhumi Puja at new Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth Campus

Pujya Swami Swaroopananda recently performed the Shila-sthapana Ceremony in Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth's newly acquired campus.

It gives me great joy to share that on June 12th 2019, Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Head of the Chinmaya Mission and Chancellor of the Chinmaya University, performed the much awaited Shila-sthapana (Foundation Stone laying) Ceremony in Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth’s newly acquired, pristine 40 acres land at Onakkoor, Ernakulam Kerala. The new site is just 12 kms away from the present campus at Adi Sankara Nilayam. This momentous event marks a very important milestone in the journey of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth (CVV), for herein will stand the vibrant main campus of the Chinmaya University.

Indeed it is the abundant blessings of the Lord and the all-fulfilling grace of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and the entire Guruparampara. As Pujya Guruji has stated in the Vision verse for the University:

विद्यया रक्षिता संस्कृतिस्सर्वदा। संस्कृतेर्मानवा: संस्कृता भूरिदा: ।।
Knowledge protects culture forever. Cultured people share abundantly.

We are actively in the process of acquiring 15 – 20 additional acres of land adjacent to the current property. Doing so will allow the University to grow comfortably for many years to come. Your support for this acquisition will be deeply appreciated.
