Chinmaya Mission UK visits the House of Commons to participate in diversity and inclusion panel event

On 27 April 2023, Chinmaya Mission UK were invited by the newspaper Asian Voice (and its sister publication Gujurat Samachar) to attend a panel event at the House of Commons called “Be the change” – part of Asian Voice’s work on diversity and inclusion and also a celebration of its 50th anniversary.

The event was hosted by Seema Malhotra MP and organised by Asian Voice in association with the RAF. The panel was moderated by Anita Goyal MBE and comprised Dr Zubaida Haque, Krishna Omkar and Dr Amit Patel.

The panel’s discussion covered a broad range of topics across diversity and inclusion, with a focus on how to move beyond conversations into action and positive outcomes.

Closing remarks were provided by Asian Voice’s chairman CB Patel.

A range of organisations connected to Asian Voice (and its sister publication Gujurat Samachar) were also in attendance.
