Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda performed the first Mastakabhishek on the towering idol of Shri Hanuman in Sidhbari during its installation in 1982, setting a tradition that has been witnessed every five years on 10 October. Multitudes throng the ashram to participate in the ceremony, offer their oblations and receive the blessings of our Veer Hanuman, in an atmosphere charged with prayer and festivity.

 The planning for the next event has begun. We eagerly look forward to Shri Hanuman Mastakabhishek 2022 in Sidhbari, Himachal Pradesh, India. See and share the attached image that gives the dates of the camp and other preparatory rituals. More details will be shared in due course.

1-7 October 2022 – Residential Camp

8-10 October 2022 – Sacred Pujas

10 October 2022 – Mastakabhishek
